(the n word) and who knows how much time it survived before someone
with any commonsense removed it, when it should never have
been allowed to exist in the first place.

Apparently there are not enough people with commonsense in Usenet to
remove alt.usenet.kooks.

I please need the help of Peter Higgs to remove the bully, anti-
science newsgroup of alt.usenet.kooks.

old wild west
days of the Internet, but we still have to get rid of another group
alt.usenet.kooks

The point is, we must not set up a newsgroup that its point of
existence is to
intimidate, bully, demonize innocent people.

Freedom of speech has its limitations, for it is against the law to
scream fire in a
crowded building. It is against the law to scream in others ears. It
is against the law
to speak freely in a courtroom unless testifying. And if a lawyer,
well practiced for the
Internet, should be able to bring a suit against someone in Admin of
Usenet or against
the active players we denizen in alt.usenet.kooks.

Archie old bean! It's been AGES! How have you been? I see you're no
longer at Dartmouth. I do hope you've found new potwashing opportunities
elsewhere, but I'm sure that's no worry. A man with your unique skillset
should never want for gainful employment.

Looking over at the alt.usenet.kooks awards I do agree there has been a
dreadful oversight. I see you've only won the VVF award twice. I think
you definitely deserve another award to hang up in your furnished room
and so I do hope that AUK sees fit to grant you a third VVF award.
(Perhaps they can accept this as a nomination? If not, I'm sure that
someone on sci.physics will stand up on your behalf).

Indeed, I'm quite surprised they haven't renamed it the "Archimedes
Plutonium Weird Science Award." You deserve an endowed chair in your
name. Perhaps we can all pool our funds and set up a scholarship as
well.
