The Grand Wizard is heartbroken. Every morning when I wake up, before I
perform my libations, have a satisfying bowel movement and rewrap my
turban I ask my magic mirror "What do you suppose a failed academic,
failed poet and failed vote wrangler with bad dentition, greasy hair and
a receding chin thinks of me?"  I can see now why it never answered me.
It wanted to spare me the anguish.
